Shawn founded Orange Wings Investments as a startup accelerator for promising new businesses. She is passionate about everything she does – if Shawn believes in an idea, she will stand by it. It is one of the reasons why she is such an inspiration to young entrepreneurs. She helps them believe in themselves and make the most out of their great ideas.
Lisette is responsible for the long-term strategy of the portfolio, our M&A and exit strategy and she advises our portfolio companies on M&A related matters. Lisette brings a wealth of valuable experience to OWI and can leverage her extensive network. She has an academic background in accounting, business and tax law and is working on her PhD.
As investment manager, Casper drives all finance related topics within the portfolio of Orange Wings. He is responsible for the analysis and valuation of (potential) investments, analyzing and assessing business plans, creating structure, and acting as financial sparring partner and coach for startups. He works closely with the entrepreneurs and their financial specialists to organize the startups as optimally as possible and to enable them to achieve their goals.
From strategy to processes, tooling to execution, Erik helps to create a recruitment foundation that responds to dynamic changes arising from rapid growth. Together with his recruitment team, Erik guides the companies in OWI’s portfolio to more suitable applicants and, ultimately, to become better performing organizations. Over the past two years, he has hired 100+ people (from junior up to C-level).
PR, communication strategies, spokesmanship and planning – Natasja Wielandt takes care of the publicity on a regional, national and international level. Apart from supporting Shawn Harris and OWI with earned media strategy, Public Relations, communication and project management, she also advises most of the scale-ups directly.
Within Orange Wings, Gülèn is known as the “Guide For Startups”. She finds great joy in creating and facilitating development and growth – of people, of teams and of companies. She dives straight into subjects like leadership and organizational development, resulting in better collaboration, connection and direction.
Randi brings energy, and a fresh perspective to the hiring needs of the companies in OWI’s portfolio and get the right people on the bus. With a knack for problem-solving and adaptability, she helps with tailored solutions to match top talent with OWI scale-ups, all while managing multiple tasks and collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
